I was a recipient to your inquiries to xxx regarding Brian Fyffe and OVOP.

The first time I heard about Brian Fyffe was when I was informed by James Renton, Barrister & Solicitor, that counsel was putting James Renton's legal argument before the Supreme Court of Victoria. I have worked closely with James Renton over the last year, and I can say without any doubt whatsoever, that he is THE authority on British/Australian law. I also had a copy of the written submissions, which in my humble opinion were 'water tight'. Therefore, I decided to sit in on the hearing to see how the court would deal with the submissions. Arriving at the court, I was frisked by police, had to give name and address and identify myself, before being allowed to enter the public courtroom. There were a large number, of what I would describe as ordinary citizens present of an age group, I would suggest, exceeding 50 yrs. Brian Fyffe had a barrister and solicitor in court. However, to my utter amazement, when the 3 judges entered and sat down, the barrister and solicitor stood up and left the court, without a word being spoken. Then the judges dismissed the court reporter, so there was no one to take the transcript of the hearing. I could not believe what I had witnessed, this must have already been arranged before the hearing.

Here was the poor guy left stranded in court with a written submission he hardly understood and without anyone taking a record of the proceedings. The hearing was a total legal farce, and within minutes the judges were already stating that 'should' they rule against him, not that they were saying they were, he could always appeal to the High Court. It was decided to adjourn early for lunch, and I realised that it was of no use to come back after, because it was painfully obvious what the ruling was going to be.

I also attended the High Court hearing, as I was told that a QC was going to deliver the arguments. However apparently the QC was unable to attend, at last minute notice, and again poor Fyffe was stranded to fend for himself. Again he was in brutal fashion 'rail roaded'. According to James Renton, who I personally believe to be totally honest and trustworthy, Brian Fyffe is totally innocent.
